I've been up all night listening to Metal. I feel that it now has to be capitalized. I'm listening to Black Star right now and i desperately want to learn how to play it. I'm thinking that it's a shred standard.
I can now play 3 minutes of Dance of Eternity. I've been tuning my low E down to C so i can play his low ass 7-string parts. Fuck John Petrucci and his 7-string Musicman.

Now that i've gotten adjusted to living at my uncle's, i'm beginning to embrace it. I've lost the home sickness that i've had for the past few days and i've started to think from a more optomistic point of view. Seriously, this is so nice. I love how normal it is here. All i've ever really wanted out of life was a way to do what i do in a healthy fashion. The constant bad news is over. I can finally relax.

Hello everyone. I know i haven't updated in a while.
I came home early today because my mother claimed to be deathly ill. She had an appointment to get a CT scan, but she said she couldn't see clearly and couldn't drive herself, so i had to drive her all the way out to Pompano. The appointment only took like 20 minutes, but man that's crazy. What do i care though? It's not like i missed anything big in weight training and team sports.
I've started a band with Mike, finally. We found a drummer, Jon Morhime, who lives in this gigantic fucking mansion in Parkland. The guy's been playing the drums since he was 4 years old and is, possibly, one of the best drummers in the city in his age group. We haven't done any metal or anything yet, but we've come up with some crazy soft jazz/funk stuff.
On April 15th i'll be moving out of this place for good. I'm moving in with my uncle until i go off to college, which i think will be a nice change. My uncle lives about 4 blocks from my current location, so at least i can still be close to Michelle. I hada fucked up dream about her last night, btw. I'm still getting chills from it.
New favorite guitarist = Al Di Meola. I can KINDA play like him. |

I believe it's time for an upgrade to something new and exciting. I've decided that i'm going to get a stratocaster because i feel like i've been missing out. I really have been missing out, man. In my entire guitar playing career i've never subscribed to or read many of the good guitarist / musician magazines, and i've been stuck with 1 guitar; my Les Paul Standard. Soon that shall all change!

SO, here i am in the library during my Personal Fitness class. It's hard as hell to type due to the gauzz pad covering my index finger. Fuckin' it hurts like hell. Why do we have to do a research paper in PE? That's my main question here.
The deposition yesterday went well. It only took about 45 minutes and there was orange juice, so i can't complain. I have a feeling Regal is going to settle out of court because this lady has a really good shot at winning the suit. I'll know by tomorrow if it's going to trial.

FFXI is coming out for XBOX360. They just made an expansion that is fucking insane, and i kind of wish i hadn't stopped playing. At least i've got a life, right? I advise that anyone who doesn't have much to do with their spare time go and pick it up. You won't regret it. |
